How dose this guy do it?

Looks like alot of use of extrude face(s) with some actuall face creations in certain spots. And the spline looks like it's just being used as a reference point.

Xerozz, Johan is an impressive modeler, poly modeling, meshtools, and a bunch of skill. I use his basic technique, you can make almost anything by employing the method shown.

he uses the spline as a reference for his polygons, and hes just "cloning" edges with shift + left click
i definately do not like this method but he seems to use it very very good so its the right decision for him :)

there was that one thread, i forget who it was, but they were modelling al;ex from street fighter. they used that technique as well, at least with the splines. should put in a lot mor refs tho, a lot more.

end reult was amazing tho.

what method do you use. just curious.

i wish there was a way to slow the video down so you can see what he is doing and so i dotn go into epeleptic shock.

also anyone know of any other good video tuts like this.
maybe ones based on subd-boxmodeling and stuff.

yeah it does. IT NEEDS TO COME BACK. i have all the episodes and i watch them when i model n'stuff. I really love the great stories and the great characters and the style and the humor....GEEZ its perfect.
