Great start. Maybe make the indentation for the ear follow the contour of the face a bit more. From this angle, it looks like a dent.

Hey, first off i will say that i think your model is excellent, i like it but i think i like your concept better. The model has lost that cartoony, dare i say... cutesey, feel. Also, not a critisism but the actual renders of the model reminds me of a clay look (dumps, bulges, lighting), cool. Anyway, i like it.

latest render....currently working on the hands then rigging.....hopefully i can finish!
I softened up the face a little to make him look less evil =P
