but it's looking pretty great to me. You may want to leave out the last sheet of life drawings. The ones with captain Jack and Wolverine are cool with their dramatic lighting and stuff but the last few are too linear and don't seem to have alot of the musculature defined through the lighting (it may just be a poor scan) I like Bilbo's house, especially the daytime shot. The nightime shot could handle alot MORE light than you've got in there right now. In reality, things are usually lit the way you did it, but in the movies you'll see that even at night they'll have alot of bluish light inside. Maybe in Moria you could have the faint orange firelight or something just to add some more visual interest (besides the one small window over the tomb)

Just suggestions! Take em or leave em :)
good reel!

thx LiannaS =)

and ya, I tried to make the "night time" one lighter, but i made a mistake during the rendering, i render the whole thing in one layer only.

you said, "Moria you could have the faint orange firelight or something just to add some more visual interest (besides the one small window over the tomb)", should I do that in another render layer ?

I'd be the wrong person to ask about render layers...although it definitely sounds like it might be worth a shot rendering it into seperate layers beccause they're different light sources...

NIce reel .
Try to put your lighting reel on some other server as youtube reduces quality and for a lighting reel quality should be high.
I allso like to draw your attention towards two things one pay more attention to the minute details in texturing and second if you want to show your lighting skills then you should include lighting related stuff in your life drawings too.
