LionHeartX2 03-14-2003, 03:38 AM This the female character ive been working on for a while. I started her in Max but after a while I swithced to Maya for a sorted amount of reasons. Heres How far Ive gotten, the Hair was the most difficult part and still is a major WIP.
CC wanted and appreciated.

couple comments...
first thing, she looks a bit bald. The middle of the nose is too wide, it also doesn't blend into the face well.
maybe upload some more views and a wireframe if you could.

Thanks for the reply. I dont even know why I rendered out the hair for that one, I didn't even see how bad the hair was until I pulled the image onto my second monitor which is set at the right color contrast. Well anyways here are some different views and the wireframe

Looking good so far - you've got the overall shape and proportions pretty well. Just as Timgolnik stated before, the area where the nose blends into the face doesn't quite work - you've got a definite line in the profile view where the nose meets the cheek - the curvature between the nose and cheek should be more subtle than that. The skin texture is looking okay but be careful at the corner of the lips. The only other thing I can think for you to try is maybe having the ears come out from the side of the head a bit more - just experiment with it and see if it looks any better - if it doesn't - then stick with what you had originally, but that's just a suggestion.
