Hey everyone! This is Spectre, my DWII entry. Throughout the majority of the comp, I didn't recieve as much critique as I may have liked, and I'd just like to know how I can improve on this character. I really wanted to normal map him but my knowledge of any 3d scuplting application wasn't enough at the time, so I just went with a regular diffuse map. Let me know what you think, thanks!

WOW. I really, really like this character. I really like the detail in this, and if you do some normal mapping this will be even better. Great work!!

Wow looking really nice :D I agree with gso that you should normal map this one, but if you dont want to go for too much realism this is perfect!

Whats the polycount on this beauty btw?

huh.... that is really really cool. I love the texture work on him. It's cartoonish but idk has this really unique look.. i love it.

Thanks for the compliments guys! :) The triangle count turned out to be 5987 or so, DWII entries were aloud 6000 tris so I tried to take advantage of that. Looking back, I could've done so much more if I used normal maps, but I'm just now gaining the momemtum with Mudbox so maybe it'll be a future project.

Hehe what a cool guy! I think it would be possible to save some polys but the end result is very smart! I like him!
