A quick illustration, around 2 hours... just throwin' around ideas for some baddies for a video game project. The horns aren't that realized but overall I'm happy with the feel of it...

The compliment was appreciated but WOW, to actually get a an unsolicited response was staggering.... seems like getting comments on work is a difficult task around here....

The image has a hellish appeal to it. . .Good stuff! Excellent work with the mouth and teeth. . .Disturbing! And the way those eyes are seemingly lit up the background fire. . .Nice!!

You know what's creepy? The hair/fur/horn protusions around the side of the head look like they could be dangling corpses. . .Corpses for earings? Creepy. . . :eek:

Repost if you update those horns, k?

Thanks man... I'm doing a bunch of creature sketches right now... tryin' to amp up the ol' portfolio....

Once I dive into the colour work I'll polish up this image as I really only spent about 40 minutes doing this 1st pass at it...

I'll repost the updated version in a week or so....

I like the idea of the corpse earrings but I'm not sure of teh scale of this guy yet... still, a nice image and one I may incorporate!

Looks good.But background take away from face,too bright.And horns not clear.But still have potential.:cool:

I agree, to a point, but as I stated at the top... this isn't the fully realized piece... as for the horns, once they're done they'll work better but I like the scale of them...

I'm thinking I'll have some hint of the body in the new version, make it feel like this guy is walking through fire...

Cool character, I like the design. The impression I get from him is chaos and pandemonium.:buttrock:
I especially like whats happening with the chin and mouth areas.
