Title: Lost Love
Name: Luis Delgado
Country: Mexico
Software: Photoshop

This is my most resent piece, it's been on my gallery for a couple of weeks but i decided i needed some honest feedback. Please feel free to help me do better next time. I'll apreciate it.

I tried to give beauty a different twist, a little bit obscure and disturbing, so I chose to recreate Susan Delgado, Roland´s first and true love. This character is part of Stephen King´s "Dark Tower: Wizard and Glass". Between darkness and light, and between beauty and horror there´s a thin line. Susan Sontag said: "Real art, has the capacity to make us nervous"

So please feel free to post any coment!

the blood looks a bit unatural, if blood where to stain it wouldnt be that way, it looks like the pillow was pressed upon the blood rather then beeing slpashed on it

Nice work. The only thing that doesn't really work for me is the blood. Looks a bit fake.
I also had a look at the other pieces in your portfolio....very very nice. I loved the one titled "when death comes for you"...pretty cool.

Cheers.

Thanks for the good critics. And I appreciate your thoughts about the blood, I agree with you, I think I focused more on the over all arrangement of the blood instead of its look, I think I should´ve researched a little bit more on the subject.
Thanks

This is a really nice illustration and I dig the colors. I agree with what is said above tho.
And I could add that the anatomy looks a little bit funny to me. I find the head big for the body.
But everything else looks fine to me =) Good job
