View Full Version : New_EIAS_Work_To_See...
Hiddenman.fr 05-09-2007, 06:38 AM Hello everyone,
First of all I have posted (or will) this news on all EIAS related forums, so you've perhaps already red that ;)
I'm glad to announce our new website in english version:
http://www.guet-apens.com
As most of you already know I am working with my brother (we founded Guet-Apens) and all you will discover on this online thing was made by the two of us: images, animations, website design and programming, sound design (site and broadcast animations)... and naturally all is EIAS / AE (+ Photoshop here and there).
I would be pleased to hear what you think of it and most of all, as english isn't my primary language, if you find bad english sentences or spelling mistakes*(or programming bugs), please send us a little report.
Have a nice day on Earth (keep it clean).

Good lush imagery, good design, layout & composition, good use of colour, good use of Flash- I didn't mind the soundtrack either...! Very rare I can be bothered with Flash sites- people tend to misuse Flash.

Stéphane, you really outdone yourself. I usually don't appreciate Flash sites but yours is excellent. A pleasure to navigate and the displayed work is fantastic. Congrats! I will spend more time on it, too many nice things to see...
As for the english and interface critics, I have little things... I would personnaly identify what the Home button is as I dislike mystery navigation... Not a big thing and not very important...
Some english mistakes: When navigating forward and backward in the images and videos, you have to choose between:
Previous img and Next img
Or Back and Next
"Forward img" would translate in french as réexpédier l'image...
In the "Clients access" section, kill the "s" in information(s) exchange(s) and every client(s)
As I was checking you site, our translator came in and was so impressed by the imagery she saw that she offered to go over it for correction, something she never does. (You lucky guy...)
Encore une fois félicitations pour cet excellent travail!

Fantastic work! I am not a big fan of flash sites either, but this one goes easy on me. Cool site and you showcase absolutely great work there. Congratulations!

Really nice web site, great design and wise use of Flash. And great work in the gallery. I miss some downloading for the great demo reel.
I bookmarked it.

Thanks for all your comments, they make me feel better...
We will update works soon so stay tunes for new videos and images.
Thanks Richard for your corrections. I will make them. As for the Home button we decided to make that way because nothing is really important in this page. It acts as a resume of others. You can download the ShowReel from its own page, view the project of the month in the Print or Broadcast sections, and the news just inform you on what has changed each time you enter the website, so... The button is here but you don't really need it. :)
