slightly ot (it's not graphics programming or programming really but scripting)
i need to learn javascript and xml as quickly as possable.
i am not naieve enough to think i can master these things in a shot period, a bit like saying i need to learn golf in a weekend, but i do need to get up to speed as quickly as possable.
does anyone have any reccommended resources they can point me to, there is a plethora of books and training material on the subjects and i am looking for some recommendations for material that can teach me the basics and give me a solid foundation to build on in as quick a period as possable.
i am not completely new to scripting. i did some moodules in java programming at uni but that was a fair few years ago and i havent look at it since.
