Title: after the battle
Name: Candido Romón
Country: Spain
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, ZBrush
Myfirst idea was to create a feminine personage, a fighter woman, but it did not decide me by the aspect. Then I saw the trailers of 300, and that I am inspired.
All have a Zbrush 2.5 displacement maps
you can see more pictures of spartan in my web

the composition is really good, but i think you need to work on the skin.

I like your modelling. But the metal material doesn't look very convincing. And you could paint some variations in the stone textures. And the ground texture could be in higher resolution and could use some bump because now it looks blurred and flat and ... what is that strange reflaction in the bottom right corner :) If it's supposed to be blood it is way too reflective.

I disagree about the composition. Apply the thirds rule, don't center her face, it makes the image look flat and boring in a sense. I think you could crop in closer in this image, you have a lot of information you don't really need.

nice ambitious work. The placement of shapes in the pictoral arena is not the issue. Try lighting from the other side of the model, you will make better use of your shadows because they will contour over the forms more. The modelling is pretty decent, but you need to spend more time looking at your deformations. plus lighting the face would be helpful. It may even be worth moving the camera back. Seeing the remnants of the battle in the backgournd might be nice. overall, this is really ambitious and has the potential to be even stronger.

Thanks for the opinions. This is my first woman model in a full composition, and i try hardly the ambient light "mental ray daylight" and the skin "mr sss fast skin" also the hair that is not really easy.
I´m the first thinking that it could be better but this is not the end is really the begining.
I suppose you want to see another aspects of the model so i attach others pictures
Thanks a lot for everybody
