What type of speed should I be looking at for laying out my UVs and Texturing a main charactor, medium charactor, and low charactor in most game developing houses?

Depends on what type of project you're working..what type of characters..etc...
Most people say that the higher amount of polygons a model is, the longer it will take to UV map. I disagree with this and say that the more complex the form, the longer it will take to UV map.
So thats kind of a vague question...

I see what you mean. My guy is just outside of low poly land, each side is about 2500 or so quads and tris. I need to definititly come up with some kind of image for you to look at later, and I'll remember not to post questions in the Crituque section. Sorry about that. Thank you
