View Full Version : preroll TP and mograph in R10?

I have a pretty render intensive animation involving TP in which I'd like to begin the render at 300f so the particles have time to fill the space they're supposed to be occupying.

I am aware net rendering particles is chancy anyway, let alone forcing preroll on clients - but even a local render does not seem to be pre calculating the previous frames TP positions.

Is this a bug or limitation?

limitation, this is exactly the issue with rendering on net as it needs the previous data. you should use mograph to bake the thinking particles.
