Well though i ll hate it..:surprised...i am sharing this with you. After 2 hours of "I need my cursor, where is my cursor?" painting with PS.
I am A NOOB so please let me live a little longer!:D
Basically i watched last week a Dylan Coyle 's Introduction to Landscape Matte Painting (http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/dco01.html)
Well just wantd to mention. This doesn't mean anything....obviously!
Just the basic brushes of PS. I found myself working only with the SMUDGE TOOL. So the whole screen is blurred and i hate it. Anyway, hope to learn from your critiques (if someone bothers to make one)

Chin up man!
Practice makes perfect.
Not sure exactly what comments to make, but there are certainly plenty of good step by steps and tutorials floating around here. The speedpainting thread is a good one to check out and there are several regulars here that have there own skecth threads that have been going for a while that are good for both inspiration and tips.
Good luck with it!
:)

How can someone determine what kind of brushes suits him the most?
I mean custom brushes are so many and free to get that i can' t try them all.
Is there any particular style of brush that will do the job the most of the time?

I use the hard edge with opacity control brush the very most. I find the soft edge brush looks too smooth, and you can get a similar effect with keeping some brushwork showing.
