I am working on a scene in which car is coming on a snowyy road and splashing up the snow particles all over the place. I was quite confused with the particle system like what to use to particlularly generate this effect. Could anyone tell me ?

Ugh, I've done this effect so many times, so I know what you're dealing with. The best method I came up with was a mix of instanced geometry for chunks of snow, LOTS of little near pixel-sized facing particles for spray, and then an overall soft layer of Afterburn volumetrics to sort of wrap the whole thing. The particle motion isn't particularly difficult as you're really just using Wind (with Turb), Gravity and Drag. The tricky part is emission. You've got to have something that matches the way the vehicle is moving, though if it's constant speed and terrain your job is easier. Try using Float Lists (Noise + Bezier Float) on the Speed and Birth Rate. The faster you kick out particles, the more you need to increase the rate of emission, so the two really go hand in hand. Once you get a certain amount of randomness to the emission rate and speed, you'll be in the ballpark. Collect up some good reference and try to match it.

Thanks Brandon. I'll go with that way :)
