Deep Paint 3d
Painting decorative patterns on a model with textured brushes options and have it matching the pattern on the model correctly?

I have 3d models, I want to use textured paint on them of various designs, like chequer boards etc. now we can paint bucket fill and get the pattern down, that's all fine if say we was doing a top and say the top is cut down the sides and each part, the front and the back was the same size, but say if its a head, and its cut up and layed out, or say its a body and the front and the back are not the same size.

How do we match up the design

The best option I can see is to paint it on in projection paint, but the trouble is that when we turn the model, to paint the bit not in view, the paint will not be layed on right, as the view is shifted it will be slightly altered, perhaps if we could paint and have it paint all round the model, even the parts we cannot see, that would do it.

I am just baffled, how do we paint designs, like lay down patters over the model and have them be matched up on the different parts.

I worked it out.

In projection paint options turn of only paint visable pixels, then it paints the back faces as well

well that was short and sweet, sometimes when all seems lost, what you want just turns up on your door step.
