hey guys.

well, i hope to actually finish this challenge.I did'nt get to far ont he last one ( no excuses but if you want one its because 4000 ninja were killed by pirates in the mediteranian and so i went to avenge them.I came face to face with death many times on what turned into a huge epic adventure, but due to my mastering of the ancient art of ninjutsu i overcame those stupid pirates and their stupid parrot's. email for teh full story )

However this time im not going to be doing the conceptual art ( is that legal ? ). im teaming up with a buddhist monk who helped me on way to physical, mental, and spiritual recovery - after falling prey to mass groups of sumurai hyena dogs on the deserlate plains of the gobi desset. He goes by the enlightened name of ... Abbott Monk Hennie Blaauw. Hennie and i will be brainstorming a character which he will design and then i will 3D.

hey guys

ok - as expected hennie did a great job on the character design.

this is my hapless hero idea - CAPTAIN NARCOLEPSY.
He is a super hero but with a badly suited secret identity.When bot saving the world from evil ( dolphins and such ) he is an animator.Due to this disguise he is always way overtired and battles to stay awake to do what he was born to do - protect the innocent. Shame poor captain Narco' - we know how he feels.

As a side effect, CN has become totally addicted to coffe, coke ( aspecially the vanilla one ), red bull, vitamin B injections etc.At first these substances helped him to fight crime after hours when there was no close deadline but now they render ( get it haha ) no effect whatsoever on him.But he cant stop - he's body craves these poisons.

So tell me what you think.
im going to work on the coffe tank and make it a more hi-tech sort of utility backpack which is also a jet pack.

Very nice and funny sketch.I think in 3D it will be quite the fun project Jono.Nice exxagerated look as well,good stuff. Go for it.:beer:

thankyou for all the cool crits on the concept.
now i feel as though i may have a winner !!!!

tonight im going to start the modeling process.
hahaha, i just picked up a 21" Samsung screen today.i got it for 3000 rand - thats like 428 dollars SWEET NOTHING !
(some kind of corporate buy back )

I like the one with the actual coffee pot to indicate the coffee level.

Can't wait to see the modelling begin!!!

Have you thought about integrating nicotene into the mix, or is he a straight edge coffee drinker?

nicotene is a great idea.cant believe i didnt think about that !!!
i think it would be funnier if he was wearing nicotene pads everywhere!! Like concentrate pads whick he has become addicted to.hahaha. cause i dont think i want him to be holding a cigi or anything.

for the theme song i can use "insomnia" by faithless ( great track still to this day )

i started the face last night - but its kak so im taking the eye which is okay and redoing the head today.its a long weekend here so i hope to get alot done.
