Hi my name is Florentin. During the last year at a university in sweden we had a
specialization project.
I Started a Short movie project called "The Walls" The focus was to create some intresting VFX.
This was a quite challeging piece.

In order to get the recording equipment (camera, lights...) I needed a budget. I had to come up with a great script that would
make producers intrested and willing to invest some money. I had to learn a lot of new techniques and sollutions to create the VFX.

The full movie isn't quite finished yet, but I have cut together some of the finished work
in to a trailer.

The trailer:

Hey florentin,

Wow that wall-expoloding-head shot turned out great! The pieces breaking away looked fantastic!

Here are a couple of comments about the general feel of the piece though, I realize you're too far in production to change these things now...but they're some comments to keep in mind for future projects :):

-If I'm not mistaken you're going for real chills right? If so, less dialogue is better. When you have characters being witty or talking to themselves it pours on the cheese. To keep it classy, show, don't tell. As soon as the dudes pressed up at the urinal started talking you lost the suspense because it turend into a humorous situation.

-Keeping in mind the show don't tell thing, don't ever have a main character talk to themself aloud. EVER (well...very rarely). We don't need to hear the main character go "oh finally alone" for us to realize that he's glad he's alone

-The face in the wall looks GREAT....but having it talk like that turns it into a sort of silly/funny character rather than a spooky "thing in the wall". Also...giving it a goofy voice (sort of like the wicked witch of the west from the wizard of oz) totally kills the scariness of it. If you're DEAD SET on giving it dialogue...make sure it's REALLY crafty or clever. "Why hello there, did you really think you were alone" is pretty much a completely dimensionless line of dialogue to have it say. Try to surprise the viewer :)

Anywho...just thought I'd insert my 2 cents since I LOVE when people try new things in the horror genre, and I'd like to see you succeed in this film and future films as well :)

Hehe nice that you gave me such a long comment=)

Well I do understand what you ment about the horror feeling. If I wanted to make a horror movie I would not go with that line which the character spooke... The movie is actually not going to be a horror movie. It's meant to be more like a bizarre comedy!

The story is about this guy that have problems peeing, and later in the movie he gets attact by the old horny woman (she stretches out of the toilet mirror) and grabs hes pants. The boy will have to struggule to get loose.

Finally his pants bursts and he get's loose.... And after a tough struggle with the old woman, he finally gets out of the toilet really afraid with only hes underwear on.

Girls passes by and laughs at him. He quickly cover him self and notice that his underwear is wet. He looks down on the floor and there is big wet puddle. Even though he peed of fright he finally got to pee:), THE END!
