i got mine for about that from an online store so it just goes to show that stuff like that is hard to get cheap on ebay

try looking for a cheap medium format film scanner, it's something that still hurts :(

Don't know about film scanners ;-) but you've got to have EXTREME patience with eBay.

Always be on the look out for misspelled auction titles because fewer potential bidders will be able to find the item.

Items with an inaccurate description (correct part number and picture, but wrong title/description) can also work in your favor. Always doublecheck with the seller on these auctions by asking "is this a stock picture or a picture of the item?" Or "can you confirm the part number for me?"

If they are really ripping themselves off, generate some positive Karma by clueing them in: "Dude, that PICASSA you're selling is really a PICASSO..."
