View Full Version : WIP "Ice Cap", needs some c&c!

I need some help on this one, especially with the hair and face. Feel free to do paintovers, but nothing too drastic please.
(the hair is supposed to be ice-like, by the way, though I dont know what style I want it in.)

Looks like a good start. Most of the anatomy looks good to me. Just the profile of the head looks slightly off. I'm not sure what it is. Possibly the forehead needs to come forward a tad... you might want to get some good reference for the the female head proportions and check it out. Anyway, I could be wrong.

The thing that's happenning at the corner of her eye is a little confusing. Is it eyelashes?

And the signature going across her torso is a little distracting. Are you really going to sign it there?

There is some really good potential in this image though. I like it. :)

Heh, thanks. I'll look at some more references and I totally agree that the face looks a bit odd. The eye thing is just for me doodling, I'm trying to get some more icy stuff going on here. Oh, and the signature is just a watermark-type thing. Sorry!

the thing about the eye is that the face is in profile, but the eye is drawn as if she was looking right at you. Her ear is also a bit small.
