Hey all,

So It's been about just about 2yrs since I last pieced together a reel and thought it was about time. I thru this together last weekend and finally got it up on my site. Other then the ending being a bit long I figured some might enjoy.

Update: My site's back up www.jackgeckler.com with higher res versions of my reel.

So I finally was able to upload my reel to YouTube.

YouTube Version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MepHLl5TcE) - Please use this version till my site's limit resets.

Cheers,
Jack

I dig it. Very well done, and love the music ;)

The grey shaded dude at the end was very nicely animated, was that for Fight Club?

Take care,

~t

Niiiiice!

I really like the running trash/cars/people creature on the street, really well done and the music fits so well to the reel.

Awesome

Hey Lil,

Ya, that's from Fight Club and all it's glory :). It was actually the first project I worked on when I moved out here to LA. The game play sucked, but the couple of us who animated were at least happy with that part.

Thanks for the comments guys, means alot!

Did that car cross the earth verticaly?
I liked the scene when it was falling. With that music, it felt like the driver had no hope.

Great stuff.

Ya, it was a commercial I animated on for the Dodge Nitro. It falls thru the earth and end's on the other side of the planet. Definatly one of the funner spot's to work on. Glad you liked it =).

Thanks,
Jack

Very nice reel - and good choice of track to go with it. Have to say it did start to drag a bit for me when the game trailer stuff kicked in - probably because I have no interest in games ;) The fight club animations were pretty decent though.

a bit to much :).
