CGTalk - Spine tutorial help

Hi, I'm following this tutorial: http://forums.ego-farms.com/index.php?topic=83. I downloaded the "MAX_OMS-04_LineToSurface_p2.zip" folder, but when I open up the max file, all the lines have already been converted to editable polygons, but not attached. Is there any way to attach them??
