Hello.

We would like to share with you the animated short, mutant-z. This clip has been created by Academy of Art University students majoring in 3D Animation. Pease click server1 (http://www.gemoksa.com/mutant-z/Mutant_z_web.avi) to watch it.
For quick time movie please click here (http://www.gemoksa.com/mutant-z/mutant_quicktime.zip).

Our priority was to deliver maximum impact with visual elements such as convincing characters, a Gothic church setting and futuristic laboratory.

Throughout the whole process, we learned about trial and error, teamwork and ownership, skills that we wouldn’t have been able to achieve in class. With this experience we are currently looking for a position in the game and movie industry. For more information please visit our website http://www.mutant-z.com (http://www.mutant-z.com/)

We would appreciate your taking a look and giving us any feedback you have.

Synopsis

The setting is the near future. Dr. Han is the main developer of a Z project: Mutant Development Project. He comes to feel revulsion for the project for its inhumane ways, so he leaves the research. He continues his own mutant development research at an abandoned church in a suburb. A monster, sent by a Z project, tries to assassinate Dr. Han in order to take the project sample. In order to save himself from the monster, he has no choice but to inject the sample into his body.

Absolutely Awesome work! It's hard to believe that it was done by students. I can see that there was a lot of people involved. It's really hard for a student team that large to get along and finish a project. But you guys pulled it off with a great result. Well done guys. Five stars.

Good stuff. Quite refreshing from usual cute, arm flapping, big heads animations :)

Bring on more beasts!

The story was pretty unclear without reading the synopsis and background story. It had really good lighting, texturing, animation, and modeling though.

'way to fast' , that was the first thing that came up in me. The movie is very nice but the scenes play way too fast. Without the discription of you I wouldnt even understood the movie.

For a moment, if you have any problem in codec, please visit our website www.mutant-z.com (http://www.mutant-z.com) instead,

then you can see low-res cinemetic.

Once again, we are sorry about that~

We will fix it soon....

Ah Flash movie! No wonder I could finally see it. And I'm glad I tried untill I got to it at your website. Looks very good. Wish more people would provide a Flash alternative so everyone could see their work! Awesome characters, environment, timing. Althought I didn't get that
he injected himself untill I read about it in the directors page. The scientists' hand blocks the view of the needle going into his arm. When I saw it again after reading the synopsis it was more interesting. Nice to see what's new at my Academy !

terrific concepts, awesome level, great modeling and texturing, some of the animations are super smooth and exciting, others are choppy (why is that?), i didnt like the music though. over all this is a unique piece, i wish we could see more of these! 5 stars.
