Looks interesting, but the trailer/teaser doesn't tell you anything at all, it looks like it should be a music video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ukcPaOu804). Sadly the site also doesn't seem to say anything about it either, some sort of girl goes psychotic/has amazing foresight/has flashbacks/flashforwards/dreams involves a lesbian love scene and a fight with a robotic alegory... based on the stills that is, it would be nice to have some sort of blurb, plotline or prologue. The effects seen look well done though (wouldn't expect any less from The Mill).

God forbid anyone try anything different. Bear in mind, this is a 12-minute independent production doing the festival circuit not the next blockbuster. Shorts like this very rarely make any money and given they've employed The Mill, I imagine it has a decent budget for a film of this type. Risky proposition, kudos to them I say.
I like a lot of the design choices they've made. Shooting on 16mm definitely gives it some depth and the colour palette is nice.
Though I do agree with Per Anders, the presentation both on the site and in the trailer is terrible with no hint to the storyline. It plays more like a demo reel than an actual trailer for a film.

Thanks for the link, looks very interesting.. nice color grading, some neat design effects.
Actually I think it's much better if a trailer doesn't show any story at all.

That was. Weird. Looked nice and intriguing really - I like how indy films can do strange and different things like this.

Because anything to do with sensual touching is soft porn.

If we compare indy films to indy films... they are ALL strange and different, making them the same!.... going back to lets say, Un chien andalou.

Excuse me, but that has to be the most ignorant thing I've seen in a long time. A majority of independent films are more tied to reality than the average top 10 and saying all experimental films are the "same" as Un Chien Andalou is completely ridiculous; I'm assuming you mean experimental when you say "indie film" here.

That still doesn't change the fact that your earlier statement was a wildy innaccurate generalisation.

Nothing in any statement earlier or otherwise change the fact that it still looks like a cheap vodka advert. :scream:
It is an Accurate generalisation.
I'll definitely keep an eye on this one. Gritty atmosphere and there was plenty of FX in the trailer, but I had to watch it few times before I was able to see them - doubt it is "FX" movie tho :).

The Production and Stills tabs on the site, tell a bit more of the story.
