I did this for a book by the same name. Actually, I was working on it for a few weeks now. But couldn't make it work, I'm not good with zombies and I was trying to force my own style into something that I couldn't get into. This week I decided do some random sketching and I came up with the figure in the foreground.

Anyway, it took me about 2 hours once I knew what I wanted. This is my first Photoshop to Painter X to photoshop production. I kind of like it, reminds me of "The Scream". I think I'll make a T-Shirt out of it.

Thank you. I'm kind of surprised at the positive comments I've been receiving. The client loved it. Just goes to show that it's better to "just do it" rather than stew over a concept for too long.

really impressive! can i ask a question? why have you used a Chinese character "dragon" on your picture? ;) just curious..

Thank you... and... well I've used it as a logo or signature for a long time. My grandfather was Chinese and I guess I use it to honor him. It's just one of those things I've been doing for so long, it doesn't feel right when it's missing.
