View Full Version : Selecting points and making a Poly - How?
newbie alert.. in Lightwave ud just select all points and select P and it would create a poly, how can in gods name do u do it in max?

Howdy !
You can select your vertices and use the "cap" modifier, or, if you happen to look in the command panel while in subobject polygon mode, you might spot a "create" button (also in the quad). But really you could've found this one in the help files for god's sake.

Go to poly level of your object and press 'create' then you click every vertice you want to make your poly

csPolyTools is what you need ;)

Yep magicm is right, CSpolytools will give you the most "Lightwave-like" results. The other techniques mentioned will work, but with cspoly you can just select the verts and click 1 button to create the poly. BTW You will need to install meshtools in order for cspolytools to work properly
