Hello everyone!

Over the past few weeks I've started creating a commercial for Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 3ds Max. I also decided to try out Vray on this project, so this is my first time using it in a production pipeline.

I'm posting here to get some feedback, and to show you my progress from concept to completion. I've recently created my website, and have all of my work of the commercial on it. You can visit the website here (http://www.scottdewoody.com/hp_proj.html). And please check out the rest of my work on the website. I have some older completed projects that I have not posted on there yet, but I am in the process of doing so.

Here are some renderings of my models that I have done. There are early test renderings.

Wanted to post a few more stills before posting the animatic, which I'll have up shortly. So I hope you enjoy these for now!

Sorry for the long pause between updates of this. I've been considerably busy with work and other projects, so I had to put this on the back burner. I have two animatics up on my site now, and I should have a "final" version of the animation this week up on my site. So please check it out, and any critiques would be appreciated.

I see that the planning of the whole scenery it's very good but i have one doubt, the scale of the elements it's a bit bigger than real life, for example the trash can, it's almost the size of the chair wich is very weird in that kind of space saving environment.

About the render i like the mood.

Good luck.

Great job here.

I like the mood of the render it has great color too.

As the past post mentioned, the proportion of some object is a bit off. I couldn't figure it out but that may be it. The rooms perspective is great. Imagine a man sitting in that seat and imagine the size of his body plus his head above that.

The room maybe smaller then it seems.

But great work.

Oh, by the way, Shido.. I may be out of line but by any chance did you used to play mmorpgs? I may have met you. okay. Take care!

Yeah I do agree, the trash can does seem a little larger than it possibly should. I'm might be reworking the camera work aswell sometime soon aswell. I like how it is now, but I think making it a little more dynamic than it is now will probably help.

Yeah, I've only played FFXI.

Thanks for the critiques!
