typically multiply assuming your AO isn't using color
Follow up question:
I have a Ao pass which seems to affet the hole scene, but i only selected AO in the color channel of the floor material?
If i exclude the opbjekt the AO is sensless to use it or am I wrong.
thank

the AO pass is a global ambient occlusion pass it cares not for your per material shaders, it looks at your render settings AO settings.
if you want AO from a specific material you need to use a material pass.
i haven't set up global AO, so the AO multilayerpass renders a global even if there is no gobal set thats stange ... i've to test this withe material layer ...
thanks
