Hey, I am currently working on this ship for an exams project, I've never actually done anything like this and could really use your help along the way.

Absolutley any comments on this is welcome. I want as many thoughts as possible from anyone and everyone, that way I'll have stuff to do with the painting.

My own thoughts are:
- The ship is too simple/childish
- The engine flames should be smaller and better placed (perspective)
- The ship looks too small. It is supposed to be huge. Need help finding out how to make that happen.

Any help or thought, as I said, are welcome. Please :D ...

I looks nice so far... I agree with your points mostly.
As far as point 3... In my experience, to make something look a certain size, you need something in the frame to compare to. Maybe you could add in a smaller shuttle, or maybe it's passign by a planet or a nearby moon. You know, something so there is a comparison.

Looks like a pretty good start.
As for how to make it look big, I would agree with Sullaford that adding some small ships surrounding it would help. Another thing that might help alot though is lots of very small windows and docking bays lining it's sides. Windows tend to be a good size reference.

Hey chief, if you're all done with exams I'd like to see how the piece turned out.
