Hi! ..I'm new to this forum and have little experience with AE and Maya, so I hope I can explain myself good enough.

I'm making a Render sequence in Maya 8.0, and compositing in AE 6.5.. I have one poligon figure and several nurbs inside the poligon. I intend to make the poligon semi-transparent, so you can see what's inside.
When I render (using Maya software) and see the results, all is good and the image is what you want to get; the problem comes when I import that image (or the entire sequence) into AE, the alpha channel is making something I don't know what it is.

If I drop the A.channel, the sequence looks just as it should, but I loose the channel and can't put other stuff behind it.
And If I preserve the channel, then the image looks incomplete, as if you olny get the "hard or non-transparent stuff".

What do I do??.. whats the problem?? Hope you can help me soon, I'm really tired and have tried all image formats and move all in render globals I see.

Here is an example of the image with and without the channel. http://xiam.com.mx/post/image.html

Thanx a lot! :D
