Ok, here is the set up,

I have a set up of a pstorm with pSurfacePosition which emits particles from an animated/riged mesh. A particle geometry object is used to make the particles into pyrocluster puffs. All works fantastic.

I tried though an ulternative approach using mograph but can't get it to work.

I used a cloner, object mode and puting the riged mesh in the boject slot I can
get it to create clones put not particles that would be accessed by pyrocluster.

I also used a matrix object with an emiter in the object slot but this emits a particle stream that can not be arranged on the surface of the mesh.

Does anyone, Per Andrers possibly know a way of making this work?

Thinking particles are doing the trick but I wanted to see if with mograph I can get alot more control with all the effectors.

Thanks in advance

You would want to use a matrix object set to object mode and referencing the geometry, and set it to generate Thinking Particles. Then use your cloner in object mode and set the matrix object as the object reference.

Thanks Adam! Fantastic, if you didn't live that far away I would been buying you a drink. Or maybe I will next time you around these shores.
