View Full Version : 9 Minutes of Ratatouille Goodness!!
gingamonkey 05-01-2007, 12:05 PM Don't think this has been posted yet but there is a 9 minute sequence of Ratatouille up on the Disney site, showing pretty much the entire sequences from the 2 main clips in the trailer.

Check it out (if you have no will power!). Unbelievably stunning!
Cannot believe us Brits have to wait until October though - bah humbug!

If you wish to see a more tailored site for your region, visit Disneyinternational.com...
Can you say racism?

Can you say "standard practice for large companies to have multiple severs, support and languages for individual regions"?
Put down the pitchfork man...
Loads on mine just fine, I chose no when they asked me to change to my region though.
Anyway, I look forward to this one since cooking is of an interest to me. Love the way remy gagged as he ran past the cooking pot, that was bloody hilarious. :D

You don't have to live in the US to see it. I'm in the UK and I can access it. When the popup appears asking if you want to be redirected to your localised site, click no and go straight to the US site, Disney.com.
It may store a cookie or something if you've already clicked the wrong link, so just delete your cache and try again.
As for the film, it's going to be absolutely stunning!
No competition as far as I'm concerned.... these guys are an inspiration to us all. :)
Here's hoping for an HD version... or at least a large Quicktime version?

I must have gotten all of yours. I don't have any problem not watching the trailer for it at all. Not sure why, but the movie leaves me uninterested. And usually I am a big fan of Pixar movies.
Well I watched, I guess I have no will power whatsoever.

at first the story is a little far fetched... until you let go and start believing, it is genius... the size relationships are a great idea and always fun to look at, and always creates a someone what trippy feel. love the juxtoposition of a cute little rat againts delicious vegetables...the characters seem to be well developed and hopefully pixar can still pull off the "impossible dream" situation with as much excitement and fascination that it always does (and hopefully make it better than cars??)
the trailer even made me cry a little! cant wait :)

well you gotta admit, they have a thing for scenes with the characters just talking. the 2 guys talking in a car in the incredibles and this :>
wonderfuly different from other cg movies that have flashy stuff all the way.

"well you gotta admit, they have a thing for scenes with the characters just talking."
exactly- the way the waiter stands there when the rat runs away captures his entire mood... and his reaction to when he realizes that he understands him... such great relationships!!!

You have to admit, comparing this movie to Toy Story, Pixar has come a loooooong way. I remember thinking the people in the early movies were very blocky and ... not to attractive as well as being very stiff and doll like in animation. Now.... holy crap, Pixar, you've outdone yourself again. Can't wait for this.

I dunno man, but ave a look at the Trailer. That thing is seriously wide!

In other news i just watched that 9min preview. Love the attention to detail.
Have a look at that rim of the Soup Bowl. Most of us would have put a simple perfect cylinder in there. But their rim is uneven!
