View Full Version : LOCK AND LOAD!!??? cellular texture lock down!

Howdy ho!

What's the process for 'LOCKING DOWN' a 3d texture like cellular when it's applied to a character. +

I know I have to do this before animating or the texture will float around as the character is animated but I forgot to remember to remember to write the process down the first time I forgot to remember how to do it....heheheh..:D

Apply a UVW Map modifier and set the mapping type to "XYZ to UVW". Then use than mapping channel for all your procedural maps and they'll stay in place when the character moves.

and obviously make sure it's set to 'local' and not 'world'
