Here's some grey renders from brazil w/ a lil update on the model.
Might be a lil dark if ur brightness is turned all the way down.

This plane was featured in the oav(in japan) or the movie (usa) Macross Plus. You guys have to watch it, the design of the two main fighters are magnificent.

Nice work so far, should look great textured. Just curious but are you planning on doing any of their transformed versions?

wire's so crowded u can't see antying, but oh well, here it is anyways.

Modeling is done in Rhino which makes it NURBS. The back is still not finished, although you can't see it. It won't be transformable, mainly because animation's not my thing. Plus I got finals coming up, and CSE's killing my a$$ anywho :)

The technique used in Rhino was mainly sweeps and surface from network curve and along w/ some patches. Any texture pros in max wanna teach me how to texture?? lol

I got pissed at my CSE grade so I went on a texturing rampage.
Texturing's not complete.

Does anyone have a good airplane base material??

looks like a nice design.. but can you do a render with a decent antialiasing level? cos all i'm seeing is jagged edges :shrug: :thumbsup:

sorry....forgot to say aa is turned off to decreased rendering time, since it's only a wip.

excellent model, + you can't go wrong with the dsign... I't macross for pete's sake....:buttrock:

are you gonna make model Isamu daison also ( pilot );) :thumbsup:

plz ignore the poor glass material and the blue dude in the cockpit.

Look for critiques besides those mentioned above.
