Hi, I have Cinema4D, and I tried to render a preview. But it keeps saying "Rendering failed - file may still be in use by the movie player"

I checked all the media players, there is no media player on.. I dont understand why this is happening.

Anyone can help me?

check that the file is not selected in the folder where is saved. If it is selected, then you won´t be able to replace it. Hope this is it.

i mean the folder where you save your file. If you have your file selected in the folder while attempting to render it out from your application, the system won't be able to overwrite it.

Have you considered just changing the name of the file? For example, if you're saving as movie.mov, try something like movie1.mov. If that doesn't work, try the usual things - closing the program, reopening it, etc.
