I'm buying a new computer and I cant decide on the graphic card.

I'm chosing between:
GeForce ti4800
GeForce ti5800 Ultra
Radeon 9700 Pro

Witch one works best with this application?

Nvidia, from there let your budget decide.

Thank's for your replies.

I will go for the ti5800.
It's a little more powerfull than the Radeon, I think there is less risk of driver problems and it has Video IN something I have had use for on my previus card.

I think you better check that. Despite ATI's OGL driver problems with Wings (which is a bummer, for sure), the new NVidia card barely beats out the Radeon 9700 Pro in only one theoretical test (they used a game engine that no games have been built upon in one test that gave the GeForceFX a ~10% advantage) and actually fell behind the 9700 by a much greater margin in most, if not all, of the other tests. See the GeForceFX review at Anandtech (http://www.anandtech.com).

They also mention that the FX (5800) drivers were in need of much tweaking.

Not only that, but it has such a huge cooling fan on it that it actually tkes up the AGP slot AND the PCI slot next to it. And it's LOUD! Very loud from what I've read.

With the Rad 9800 Pro due out within the next few weeks, you'll likely see some OGL driver issues with the 9500/9700 straigntened out once they launch the new card. Right now ATI's priority is to get the 9800Pro out the door, I would suspect.

Well...
I based my opinion on the tests done at Toms Hardware between the ti5800 and the 9700 Pro.
I have found tests done there to be reliable before.
Some results.

UT 2003:1024x760 Radeon +4%, 1600x1200 nVidia +12%

3D Mark 2001 SE: 1024x760 nVidia +1%, 1600x1200 nVidia +6%

Aquanox: 1024x760 nVidia +13%, 1600x1200 nVidia +10%

Jedi Knight II: 1024x760 nVidia +3%, 1600x1200 nVidia +3%

Max Payne: 1024x760 nVidia +3%, 1600x1200 nVidia +9%

Comanche 4: 1024x760 Radeon +3%, 1600x1200 Radeon +7%

Codecreatures:
#polygons: 1024x760 Radeon +23%, 1600x1200 Radeon +19%
framerate: 1024x760 nVidia +13%, 1600x1200 nVidia +17%

Spec Viewperf 7:
3DS MAX: 1280x1024 nVidia +42%
drv-08: 1280x1024 nVidia +55%
dx-07: 1280x1024 Radeon +3%
light-05: even
proe-01: 1280x1024 nVidia +15%
ugs-01: 1280x1024 Radeon +54%

The noize level..well my current computer is built on an AMD and has a total of 5 fans. The new will have less, so I don't think it will be more noizy than the old one.

But the main reason for me to chose the ti5800 was the video in possibility.

The +% is my own :
It's by how many percent the faster card beats the slower card.

ah, damn ATI, they even doesn't Q test their products.
maybe the ATI is fast, but just fast, nothing more, no good drivers, not stable, no good support in many apps, risky (damaged product), some very ugly & bad rendering in some apps & games, no new technology (like those nVidia invented), & expensive!
