So I've been looking at some samples of what's called: Kinetic typography. That's where the words move around, fade out, etc etc.
samples of such are here: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/kt/ (http://www.cs.cmu.edu/%7Ejohnny/kt/)
I was wondering, I'm a linux/mac user and I have never really gotten to know blender, is blender the kind of open-source program that could do all this stuff, or would using blender for this be kind of overkill?
I hear that some people use adobe after effect etc etc but this kind of thing should be easy to do in blender I would think.
Could anybody point me toward any text-related tutorials or pieces?
