View Full Version : How do I get rid of these damn boxes on my IK's!?! Anyone!?
Eudaimic 03-12-2003, 06:49 PM I'm near crying here! I just have no idea how to get rid of these damn boxes, and they're obscuring my view all the damn time!
They appear as soon as I set up the IK handles :(

The boxes appear when you have limits on your joints, and the smaller your scene is scale-wise the bigger the boxes are.

Right. They appear when joint limits are set. Set Show->Ik Handles to off and they should not longer bother you.
cheers, tom.

Aha... That's a bit... annoying :(
There's no way to turn off the 'limit-box' and keep the IK handles?

If you just create something like a curve or object, and then point constrain your IK handle to it, you can then hide the IK handles and use the curve/object to move the IK instead.
