Hi guys. Have you ever gotten something like this for a mouse pointer, and can't paint? If you have, please give me a shout.

Hey Marcus,
it seems that you haven't activated the material for painting.
If you haven't switch your material manager to any Layer Manager view
(material manager menu>edit>Layer Manager...)
If there is a greyed cross or pencil next to your material icon click on it and paintig gets activated.
