I' following the tutorial of Joan of Arc, but when i've finished it i try to modify the model to make an evil version of Joan called "Joan of Dark" :)

This image are only the base model of the body without any modification.... (It is my 1st human model)

Let me know what do you think about it..

Yeh Good start Stepunk!

I followed the ear section from that Joan of Arc tutorial.. and it turned out alright i'm also modeling my first character, but i'm aiming for realism, and not stylised modeling
http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47912
the better stuff is on page 3

it's been a real learning curve for me, and i hope it has been for you... I think the best way to do it... is to use the principles of what that Joan of ark tutorial is talking about, but create your own design.. find some ref pics/ or make some ref pics of your own

that way you can say "it's all yours"
Good luck:beer:

Yes, you're right! But i made this only to learn how to create a character, and when i've understand the metod i will stat to make my personal character :)

I'm aiming on a stylised modeling because a realistic model need most detail and my pc could not support much polygons for a complete character (pc win, 700mhz, 512mb ram, GeForce2 64mb ram...i think i'll get a new processor (maybe dual) and graphics card when in have enough money:) )

Your work it's very good :) I like it :)

Evil armor? Easy as Pi; your answer lies in two words: skulls & spikes.

It might look too cheesy if you overdo it, but most of the time it turns out okay.

umm...for the skulls i'm trying to model one but with bad results, i what to put one skull on the right shoulder but i dont' know how!
I have a skull already done, and i can'f find a good way to attach it to the armour....... umm....

And for the spikes i haven't think abuot it before... yes it is a good idea :)

Alright, good progress. Only two things from me:

- The body seems to be a bit to stretched to me.
- Her breasts need to be bigger IMHO. Now, don't shoot me yet for being a "sexist pig", but isn't Joann an adult female? If yes, she needs to have bigger breasts than this; these look to childish in my eyes.

Fix the head please, it looks like an alien right now.
Everyone uses the 'anime' style as defense for being sylized... well i would like to see something other than anime style.

I've only followed the guidelines of the blueprints of the tutorial (with some modification for the hears). (the first version of the head was made wih facial studio)
I've made this head just for understand how create an head... may in the future i'll do another head more realistic :)

Thank you for your comments
