hi all,

I'm currently working on some architectural (exterior) projects inside of 3ds max, using vray renderer,

I'm looking for a (professional but easy) software or plugin that can help me adding outdoor Environment elements like (trees, plants, flowers, etc.) inside max so I can move them around and scale them as needed.

any names, refs will be great

thanks

There is Bionatics plugin, which comes on the Max DVD with 5 or so types of trees/plants. You can buy more from the maker. It is kind of cool in that the plants are identified by species, you can set the age (to determine size) as well as set the season of the year.
Also, you can set it as a billboard, Low-Poly with normal mapping, or high-poly geometry.

Another option is Archvision, whose plugin is also includeed on the Max DVD.

I am sure there are several others, but those two may get you started.
