View Full Version : help to create this sort of animation
jammal 03-12-2003, 01:48 PM hi there people,, i was just wondering if anyone could help me create a similar animation of this sort of button on www.halolounge.com the ones that open and close on the mouseover,, apparently they were done on lightwave and then imported into flash mx.. i wanted to create a similar animation on c4d, but i need help .. i hope someone can help .thanx :)

i would create this type of button using a point_level-animation or a morph, render it with an alpha as single pics and then import them into photoshop to erase the background and then into flash to make the roll-over effect.

i guess ill have to learn how to morph things in c4d,, does anyone out there know a good tutorial on morphing, if so please let me know i would realy appreciate it :)

I really wouldn't know where to start either but I'd love to learn how to create this effect, could anyone please post any tutorials?

very clever people...love that effect....and once you know its so damn versatile! that site looks very slick....
not got any tuts...but couple of morph plugs on this site and now free thanks to this great guy.....give them a look may help sometime in the future....and don't forget to read the " !! " on the plugins menus....cos you know it makes sense!:thumbsup:

never used the morph plugins but i think you can use them for point and bones stuff...worth checking out even if not for this project.
