I don't quite get what you mean...
If you mean simply export a network just select it and go to the hypershade and select to export it...
Maybe I misunderstood you..

what I ask , the 3d artists answers. so I am happy for this.
my question is about this:
-animation-
how to make a flying magic carpet. ?
timeline should be:
--first wrapped and not flying like a cylinder.
--than started to open getting ready for fly.
so I am in hard to open it from the roll off FORM. to
an flying carpet.
cycling the face of carpet while it opens from its roll-off form.
