Software: 3ds max, VRay

This robot was made for Extrememusic's website while i was in Ingreme Post Production. It was made along with two other coleagues, and i participated in modelling and animation as well as i did materials, lighting and rendering. It was very difficult to maintain render times low and avoid pc crashes due to the amount of small pieces the bot has, in the arms and such. lots of nails..

wow, always wondered who is behind this amazing masterpiece, I always loved this, and now u revelead it for me, I never thought it was max and vray though , but Im happy cus thats what I use!

Great stuff!

Nice idea and robot - the modelling is very good and so are the materials. The SSS plastic looks amazing :)

Could you post a wireframe, please?

could i ask u what kind of lighiting exactly have u used on it. looks almost like a spotlight, but not sure. I tried last night and I could get very very close but maybe not exactly as this.
or is it a sphere vray light?

Ohh fantastic character..Modelling lighting..everything is really great..Colors are great..Idea behond that character is good..Looking refreshing to me..Great job done..:thumbsup:
