I pretty much know the answer to this already...I'm just tossing it up here hoping that there's something obscure that I'm missing.

Is there any way at all, to get lens effects to work with refraction and transparency?? Our project changed and now there's a prominent glass object however most of my elements have lens effects on them. I need to make it work without having to rebuild everything.

Any chance?

Thanks guys,

The only way I can think of is to render those channels on a seperate pass.
Doubling your render time, most likely.

Multipass in Cinema takes next to no additional time to render (all it's doing is writing the data that it already samples anyway to bitmaps), the only pass I've found that increases rendertime in any signifigant manner is AO. The most signifigant factor in any increase in rendertime you'll see most likely comes from read/writing the files and passing them around a network if your'e using NET as it will produce considerably more data.
