Normally we blend ik/fk, right? Well...what if I wanted one rig controlled by expressions, but also be able to use keyframed poses on the same rig? Someone suggested it would be similar to a prop constraint, but I'm not so sure. Would it be an fk/fk blend, since neither rigs use ik?
I'm animating a fish with a rather large expressive tail. Expressions are good for standard motion, but I also need to keyframe certain poses as he turns corners and flexes his tail inward and outward. I tried using dynamic splineIK, but again, it lacks keyframing ability.
