Title: retro futur soldier
Name: christophe desse
Country: USA
Software: mental ray

after a never ending wip thread i finaly finished this piece ,
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?p=4345987&highlight=sob#post4345987

a retro future oldier inspired by the role playing game and upcoming movie , ''the mutant chronicles''
used zbrush3 for sculpting and texturing and maya/MR+lw for multipass rendering

i did in no way try to make it look realistic , but took it more to an ilustrative look with strong color

Really an awesome job, you did on that model

Especially the leather-shader looks very nice and smooth and looks fine to me.

One thing...maybe the pictures' blurriness is set a bit too high.
