Hi All

This film was finished last year and was produced as a long term project with a very small team and an even smaller budget. One Small Step is a 50's style B-movie homage with a tiny little twist!!!
A single alien scout has been sent to earth
to proudly plant an intergalactic flag of conquest.
This act signals the beginning of a huge invasion.
However things do not go at all to plan and there are
disastrous consequences.
Not big or flashy just a little tale I wanted to tell.

I Hope you enjoy it folks!

Nice short mate :)

I think that if you trim it down a little bit would be good, cause it feels a bit too long as it is, but nonetheless, its a nice piece. It remind me a lot to "mars attacks" (maybe cause you use some sounds of the movie?)

Anyway, good job  Keep it up.

Thanks for taking the time to comment and advise. Whilst I have cut it right down from all the original subplots I think you could have a point, it was 13mins! This was my first film and a good learning curve, 'Films aren't finished they're abandoned' as someone said. The music was heavily influenced by The Day The Earth Stood Still and other fifties B-movies which is why it might sound close to Mars Attacks! the same inspiration I think, but hey Danny Elfman is a genius so maybe there was some influence there, but our score and sound design was all original though, no direct lifts! cheers bud : )
