View Full Version : How do you texture a game model

I've got some experience texturing low poly, but is there a way to texture only half the model and then mirror the textures over? That way you have more pixels to work with on the UV Map and half the work.

one way to do it is to make your uv map for one side and then on the same map put the other uv's directly on top of the first side. Does this make sence. You are are using the same map for both sides you just have to minipulate your uv's.
