how do i this, so far ive only been able to create a custom brush without its orginal color,
,lets say i have a texture/patern of a Wall brick that is red and brown, and this texture is modefied to be seamles, but i would like to be able to paint with this brush using that texture on this patern when painting with a brush,
Confusing maby, but i hope someone understands me

I think I understand:

A brush is a greyscale map so you wont be able to keep your colour.

so intead save your Tiled bricks as a pattern and use either the pattern stamp tool or make a new layer and in the layer style turn on pattern overlay and just paint on that layer however you want.

Thats it, I thank you very much for helping me, that did the trick:)
,i gues i just thought that i was doing something wrong when i dident get any color while i did it the other way, by trying to paint with the normal brushes.
.
appriciate it
