View Full Version : new to anime and colourizing
Pengy300 03-12-2003, 01:52 AM Hello all. This is my first stab at anime and coloring it on computer. I usually find I just wreck my sketches when I try and do anything with them. Any tips you could give on the color would be appreciated. Also, I don't quite know how to make the outfit look silky ,so any sugg. there would be great. Thanks in advance.

Well. Don't take this wrong but, there are a lot of anatomy problems with the picture... Most notibly the hands and the legs. Here's a link with some great pictures of hands.

Her chin strikes me as a little wierd too. It's got it's own style and I like that, but it's not the usual pointier chin that's common with anime. Whatever you choose to go with.
Her sides seem rounded, making me think she's a little plump. That's really rare in anime for a leading character and a girl.
I think you did a great job on the hair and the eyes.
Keep it up Pengy!
